Remove Dark Circles in 3 Easy Steps

remove dark circlesIf you're plagued by unsightly dark circles under your eyes, follow the three steps below to help combat them.

Step 1: Use a cold compress made of green tea bags. First, make some tea using two green tea bags. Afterwards, place the tea bags in the refrigerator until they are cold. (You can drink the tea while you wait for the tea bags to cool.)Then, simply place a green tea bag under each eye for about fifteen minutes. Green tea contains an antioxidant that helps reduce puffiness. It also contains caffeine and tannins that help shrink the blood vessels in the under eye area.

Step 2: Sleep on extra pillows. This step actually has two parts. The first is to get enough sleep. A lack of sleep highlights the hollows under your eyes and makes any dark circles you already have appear stronger. The second step is to sleep on an extra pillow. The higher elevation that an extra pillow adds helps reduce the build-up of fluid that naturally occurs in the lower lids when you sleep.

Step 3: Use an under eye cream that targets dark circles. While most eye creams provide moisture to the under eye area, moisture alone isn't enough to remove dark circles under the eyes.
